How we create content
Content standards
How Edge-Forex researches, verifies, labels, updates and corrects its market content.
Last updated October 2026
These standards apply to the market analysis, commentary, explainers, guides and data-led content published on Edge-Forex.
Our objective is to provide useful, clearly presented information without describing uncertain market outcomes as facts or presenting general analysis as personal financial advice.
Content types
Edge-Forex uses content labels to help readers understand the purpose of an article.
Market update
A timely explanation of a market move, economic release, central-bank decision or other relevant event.
Analysis
An interpretation of market conditions, possible consequences or future scenarios. Analysis may contain the author's reasoned view but cannot guarantee an outcome.
Commentary
The author's perspective on a market development, supported by identified facts, data and sources.
Explainer
A factual introduction to a financial instrument, economic indicator, market event or trading concept.
Guide
Educational content intended to help readers understand a process, method or risk. A guide is not a personal recommendation.
Accuracy and verification
We aim to verify material factual claims before publication.
Where applicable:
- Economic figures are checked against the organization that originally published them.
- Central-bank decisions are checked against official statements, minutes or speeches.
- Government policies are checked against official documents or announcements.
- Market prices include a source and relevant time or reporting period.
- Third-party claims are attributed to the person or organization making them.
- Material calculations and comparisons are reviewed before publication.
- Articles distinguish verifiable information from interpretation.
When reliable information is incomplete, disputed or unavailable, we say so.
Sources and attribution
We prefer primary sources whenever they are available, including:
- Central banks
- Government departments
- Statistical agencies
- Financial regulators
- Exchanges
- Company filings
- Official reports and datasets
- Direct statements from identified people or organizations
We may also use established news organizations, market-data providers, research firms and specialist sources.
When another organization first reported information relevant to our content, we identify and link to that source where practical. A press release is treated as a statement from the organization issuing it, not as independent confirmation.
Market data
Market information displayed on Edge-Forex may be supplied by third-party providers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Prices are indicative.
- Data may be delayed.
- Prices may differ from those offered by a reader's broker.
- Displayed prices are not executable quotations.
- Historical performance does not predict future performance.
Readers should confirm current prices through their own broker or data provider before making a financial decision.
Analysis and uncertainty
Financial markets are uncertain. An analysis can be carefully prepared and still prove incorrect.
When discussing possible future outcomes, we aim to:
- Identify the assumptions behind the analysis.
- Explain the evidence supporting the view.
- Describe material risks and alternative scenarios.
- Separate confirmed information from interpretation.
- Avoid presenting forecasts as facts.
- Avoid language suggesting that profits or outcomes are guaranteed.
Price targets, market scenarios and directional views are general analysis only. They are not personal recommendations.
Experience and personal observations
Edge-Forex content may draw on Vinit Makol's trading and market experience.
First-hand experience can provide useful context, but it does not replace verifiable evidence. Articles should distinguish personal observations from facts that can be independently confirmed.
Experience, previous analysis and historical trading results do not guarantee that a current interpretation will be correct.
Conflicts of interest
Authors must disclose financial, professional or commercial interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their work.
Edge-Forex also operates Edge-Forex Managed Services, which may trade markets discussed in our content. This relationship is disclosed to readers.
Nobody working with Edge-Forex may use unpublished content to obtain an unfair trading advantage. Content must not be altered, delayed or withheld to benefit an existing or planned trading position.
When a conflict is particularly relevant to an article, it should be disclosed within that article.
Commercial content
Promotions for Edge-Forex's services, advertising, sponsorships and affiliate relationships must be distinguishable from general market analysis.
Payment or another commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage or conclusions.
Use of artificial intelligence
Automated tools may assist with research, transcription, translation, data processing, summarisation or content review.
A named human author remains responsible for the published content. Material claims must be checked against reliable sources, and output from an AI system is not treated as a primary source.
Edge-Forex does not knowingly publish entirely machine-generated articles under a human author's name.
Corrections and updates
We correct material factual errors when they are identified.
Depending on the nature of the change:
- Minor spelling, grammar or formatting errors may be corrected without a note.
- Material factual corrections receive a visible correction note.
- New information may be identified as an update.
- Changes affecting an article's meaning or conclusion should be explained.
- The original publication date should remain visible.
- Materially revised articles should display an updated date.
We do not remove accurate content merely because it has become inconvenient to a person or organization mentioned in it. Legitimate privacy, safety and legal concerns are considered individually.
How to report an error
To report a possible error, email [email protected] and include:
- The article title or URL
- The statement you believe is incorrect
- Why you believe it is incorrect
- Supporting evidence or a relevant source
We assess correction requests on their merits. Submitting a request does not guarantee that the requested change will be made.
