Sponsored contributions
Sponsored articles and paid links
Edge-Forex publishes a limited number of paid articles and links from brands and agencies in forex, trading and finance. Every placement is reviewed, clearly labelled and kept apart from our own analysis.
Prices
Two kinds of placement, both priced in US dollars and both subject to availability.
Sponsored article
From USD 250 per article
An original article by a named author from your organisation, published on Edge-Forex with a Sponsored label.
- 800 to 1,500 words, original and not published anywhere else
- Bylined to the person who wrote it, with a short line on who they are
- Edited by Edge-Forex for accuracy, clarity and our Content Standards
- Up to two links to your own site, both marked rel="sponsored"
- Kept online at its own address on edge-forex.com
The final price depends on length and the editing needed. We quote it before you commit.
Paid link in an existing article
USD 120 per link
One link to your site, placed in a relevant Edge-Forex article that is already published.
- Edge-Forex chooses the article and writes the sentence around the link
- Placed only where it is useful to the reader
- Marked rel="sponsored", and the article states that it contains a paid link
- The article's analysis and conclusions are not changed for it
Subject to a suitable article being available. If there is none, we tell you rather than force a fit.
Who we work with
Who this suits
- Brokers, platforms and fintech firms whose regulatory status can be checked
- Providers of trading tools, market data and research
- Trading education that makes honest, verifiable claims
- Agencies placing content for clients like these, who name the client up front
What we do not accept
- Promises of certain or fixed returns, or performance figures without evidence
- Firms that misrepresent their regulatory status or trade without a licence they need
- Signal sellers and account schemes that promise profits
- Binary options, gambling, token sales and get-rich schemes
- Text written mainly for search engines, spun, or machine-generated without a responsible author
- Requests for exact-match anchor text, link exchanges and links into link networks
- Content already published elsewhere
How it works
Send a proposal
Use the form below. Tell us who you are, what you want to publish and where you want to link.
We review it
We check it against our Content Standards and aim to reply within five working days, with a yes, a question or a no.
Agree the details
For an article, we agree the topic and outline before anyone writes. For a link, we propose the article and the wording.
Write and edit
You send the finished article and we edit it, asking for sources or changes where needed. For a link, we place it and show you where.
Invoice and publication
Once the piece is accepted we send an invoice. When it is paid, we publish with the Sponsored label and send you the address.
Send a proposal
A few details are enough for us to say yes, no or ask a question. Nothing is published, and nothing is charged, until we have agreed the details with you.
Questions
Will a paid link help my search rankings?
We make no promise that it will. Paid links are marked rel="sponsored", as search engines require, which tells them the link was paid for. Buy a placement because Edge-Forex readers are the audience you want to reach.
Can I choose the anchor text?
No. For a paid link, Edge-Forex writes the sentence and the wording of the link, so it reads naturally and helps the reader. You choose the page it points to.
Who is named as the author?
The person who wrote the article, with a short line on who they are and who they work for. Sponsored articles are never bylined to Edge-Forex's analyst.
Will it appear on the homepage or in the newsletter?
No. Sponsored articles are kept out of the homepage, sections, topics, recommendations and feeds. Each one has its own address on edge-forex.com, which you are free to share.
Can AI write the article?
A named person must write it and be responsible for it. Tools may help with research or editing, as our Content Standards allow, but we do not publish machine-generated text under a person's name.
When do I pay?
Only after we accept your proposal and agree the details. We invoice in US dollars and publish once the invoice is paid.
Can a placement be changed or removed later?
We correct factual errors as our Content Standards describe. We may remove a placement that later breaks them, for example if the linked page changes into something we would not have accepted.
